Summer Project – Lab Technician

We are currently recruiting for a leading Agricultural manufacturing company based in Kings Lynn they are seeking to employ a Laboratory Technician to start as soon as possible until September.
Role:
A rare opportunity has arisen to assist in the continuation of an ongoing key project over the summer months. This role would be ideal for a science undergraduate looking for an opportunity to gain some laboratory experience in addition to earning some extra money before the academic year commences. Applications from experienced laboratory staff looking for a few months’ work also welcome.
Key Tasks (but not exhaustive):
* To contribute to a long-term project on compatibility trials. This will involve blending existing products and monitoring for signs of non-compatibility.
* The maintenance/ improvement of documentary records for the project.
* Any other laboratory-based tasks thought necessary or useful according to the business needs.
Required skills and qualifications:
1. Minimum of A-C Grade GCSE’s in Maths, English & Sciences
2. Be conversant in the standard Microsoft software package including, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
3. Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Team members, commercial colleagues in the UK and overseas

Standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
