Salary : £26000 – £28000/annum
We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Stores / Warehouse Person to work within a busy manufacturing company. The role will be to support the Production and Parts Co-ordinator. A large part of the role will be preparing component kits for the manufacturing team as well as the stores and warehouse duties
* Prepare deliveries to site as well as the associated paperwork.
* Unload/loading goods by hand and using a Fork Lift Truck.
* Evaluate delivery notes to match with purchase orders and record details on SAGE.
* Liaise with departments about goods in and out.
* Pass authorised paperwork to purchasing department for processing.
* Complete stock level checks within the stores and complete stock control summary report.
* Transfer received parts to the stores area.
* Accurately check parts against pick sheets.
* Picking and kitting of parts ready for production builds.
* Pack and wrap pallets for deliveries
* Experienced stores background ideally in a technical / manufacturing environment
You will be an experienced store person with a background in a warehouse stores or mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment, I deally with a technical / Engineering business
• Demonstrable experience with Data entry with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to use Sage although training will be provided
• Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• The ability to work in a team
• FLT license an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
• Good ‘people skills’ are required and should be able to fit into our existing team
• Driving Licence Required
