The Opportunity
food restaurant located near to the Suffolk coast are looking for a quality fresh food Sous Chef to run this popular venue that can seat currently around 150 people
This café style restaurant is open DAY TIMES ONLY 8am – 4pm / 5pm. Offering an array of home cooked breads, scones and pastries plus seasonal simple fresh dishes.
We are looking for an energetic chef who can implement new ideas, create stunning seasonal dishes and has a the ability to cope with a busy service and work closely with the owner and close knit team.
Shifts 5 / 7 Days – 2 Days off

Ø An individual with a passion and love of fresh quality food
Ø A strong chef that can present dishes to a constantly high standard and assist and encourage younger members of the team
Ø A chef with flair and creativity and an individual that can contribute ideas to the kitchen team
Ø A real self-starter, motivated and keen to get stuck into the role
Ø A chef that understands the origin of food, likes to create seasonal flavoursome dishes and please his audience
Ø A personable individual who can liaise with the front of house team
Ø A chef that is looking for a role with good hours but still has the enthusiasm to bring good business ideas to generate sales and encourage trade through the food offering
What we need from you
Ø Experience within a fresh food commercial kitchen ideally to a rosette level.
Ø Good basic skills, the ability to make things from scratch
Ø Kitchen management skills
