Recruiting for a savvy, experienced Software Developer with a demonstrated history of working with Sage 200 solutions, who can help customers get the most out of their Sage 200 software. This is a home based role anywhere in the UK, paying up to £60k negotiable. Technology used is .Net, C#, VB, ASP.Net SQL and MS SQL Server.

Some of the things you might be doing here as a Sage 200 Developer:- creating custom fields, bespoke programming, finance functionality, scalable WinForms applications, website & e-commerce integration, bespoke SOP and POP development, automating import & export routines to other systems, links to manufacturing systems, web based DB applications, linking Sage 200 to your clients' CRM systems, creating new screens in Sage 200 which offer extra functionality, mobile app functionality and much more.

What they want is an experienced Sage 200 Software Developer with solid .Net and SQL Server development skills and some knowledge of accounting – so you know enough about double entry bookkeeping to get your head around the business processes of Sage 200 financials. You understand ERP systems and their functionality and Sage 200 specific add-ons, you can bespoke Sage 200 to meet customer requirements, and develop enhancements to make your clients' business processes run more efficiently. And you create detailed specification documents based on customer requirements.

This Sage 200 consultancy have built a solid reputation over the last 10 years, through developing strong customer relationships, delivering great software solutions and really understanding what the clients' need. They sell Sage 200 with all of the 10 modules (CRM, BI, Manufacturing, Reporting, Financials, commercials, BOM, etc) then they do bespoke development relevant to the specific company or industry, and they have built a portfolio of solutions that sell very well and bring in recurring revenue, financial stability and good profit margins.

Their Senior Sage 200 Developer is retiring (he is a Sage guru) and this is an opportunity to work with him initially and get some deep insight into their Sage 200 development and build up your own skills at the same time. He will teach you whatever you specifically need to know about their development methods, the quirks of their clients, and the technology here, and how to get the most out of the flexibility and versatility of Sage 200. When he retires in a couple of months, you will be Lead Developer. There are Sage 200 freelancers here too that you will get to know, plus a team of technical people that you will work with.

This is a fully remote permanent Sage 200 software development role, Birmingham is just a pinpoint, and you can live anywhere in the UK, from Land's End to John O'Groats.
