A top industry-leading PR and social media agency is searching for a Social Media Manager to join their Manchester office. Key Accountabilities:
Takes a lead in fielding client contact and actively builds strong client relationships on all accounts, participating in client hospitality initiatives when required.
Maintains detailed knowledge of clients' organisation, key contacts, target markets, competitors and market challenges.
Manages, guides and provides on-the-job training for junior colleagues, ensuring they are thoroughly briefed whilst helping them prioritise workloads.
Ensures that AD/team heads are kept abreast of the progress of work and are made aware of any issues or new opportunities.
Manages the day-to-day delivery of social client programmes or parts of larger programmes. Reviews and manages all account actions, reporting and monitoring.
Assists in developing social media strategy and paid strategy and ensures strong social execution to deliver to or above client expectations and that programme KPIs are met.
Assists with social new business preparation and pitching. Initiates proposal drafts and campaign plans for current clients.
Completes timesheets daily and demonstrates awareness of personal account time allocation and delivers work within the billable time allocated.Skills Required as a Social Media Manager:
2-3 years' industry experience
Experience within PR or social media agencies
