We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Social Media Manager to join a fast-growing fashion and footwear focused ecommerce brand based in Manchester. You will be leading and growing the social media team, and managing all levels of our social media channels. You must have a solid understanding of social media marketing, especially key platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.

The Role:

* Lead and deliver overall social organic weekly strategy in line with the brand goals and planned activity and collections

* Working alongside creative and design team to brief in engaging assets for all channels.

* Work alongside Marketing Manager to develop full social strategy inline with campaign and collection launches, always having an eye on out-of-the-box ideas to energise each launch

* Plan and implement out-of-the-box ideas in ways to engage with our customer and drive traffic to the website

* To monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity and proactively recommend changes

* Keeping an eye on brand goals in terms of followers and engagement, and proactively finding ways to implement these- Coming up with out-of-this-world ideas for social posts and competitions, keeping an eye on competitors to ensure we are leading in our market

About you:

* You’re energetic, creative and proactive with an understanding and love for the footwear & fashion industry

* At least 5 years in social media management and you have experience leading a team

* Experience with SMM platforms (Hootsuite, Later, Dash Hudson or similar)

* Able to create large scale innovative and original campaigns for maximum coverage

* You’re an out-of-the-box thinker, always looking to push the boundaries of your creativity by experimenting down paths not taken before

* High attention to detail and able to work to strict deadlines as well as keeping organised and ability to prioritise tasks depending on importance without guidance

* A university degree in Fashion Marketing (or Marketing / Communications / Promotion or similar )

* Understanding of TOV, the brand and the industry

* Basic understand in Adobe Creative Cloud

* Understanding of photography and videography

* A clear communicator with a savvy mind for slogans & strap-lines
