An award winningSoft & Hard Landscape company are expanding and are in need of an experienced Senior Ops Manager with Landscaping experience. Their core business centres on Commercial Landscape Construction and Maintenance. Project values range from £10K – £100k. The core business is Landscape Construction for Developers and Large Main Contractors it is our aim to extend this market through the appointment of a Senior Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of each of our pending and active projects including, the scope of works, programme, tender documentation and contract particulars
Production of contract programmes; monitoring, amending and updating project operations accordingly and advising of any potential delays to the client team
Preparation of contractbudgets; detailed cost plans; bills of quantities and procurement plans
Championing of and ensuring compliance with our site-specific company policies and procedures
Ensuring that all projects are managed effectively and safely to comply with all aspects of the current health and safety regulations
Responsible for ensuring and maximising profitability of contracts and delivery of works on time.
Leading the supervisors in presenting and mentoring on the delivery of toolbox talks
Ensuring that sites are managed in a clean, safe and tidy manner
Sourcing of materials, negotiating keen prices and placing orders as required
Mentoring others in the adherence to the Company's procedures and quality practices
Managing the quality of the delivery of the projects to ensure that the good name of and the reputation of the Company is maintained and enhanced
Promotion of the Company at all times
Tender for and build up a new arm to the business in the area of remit in the above section of Key Markets for growth
