Site Agent – Highways – West Midlands/Flexibility to travel/lodge
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum Car Pension
Our client are a growing regional civil engineering contractor based in the West Midlands. Due to growth they are recruiting a Site Agent to work on local authority highway schemes: highway construction, carriageway widening and junction improvements up to £2m in value mostly in the Midlands but with some schemes in other parts of the country . The Site Agent will be responsible for:
* Managing sub contract and staff labour
* Procurement of specialist sub contractors
* Programme management
* Managing monthly site meetings
* Assisting the QS with monthly CVRs
* Ensuring good cost control
* Managing health and safety
To be considered for the role you will have a background and track record working for a recognised civil engineering contractor in a similar role. You will be qualified to HNC/Degree level in civil engineering and experience delivering highway schemes.
