Service Supervisor

Brightwork’s client is currently recruiting a Service Supervisor for their Muir of Ord site, where you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and junior engineers. Strong leadership and customer skills is pivotal for the business.
Purpose of Role
Responsible for leading a team of engineers and junior engineers for construction engineering onsite and offsite. Supporting engineers with technical queries and problem solving. Building relationships with both colleagues and customers is key in the role.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers and junior engineers
Manage and develop the team to strengthen productivity and quality control within the worksite
Mentor the junior engineers and keep up to date with college requirements
Organise regular servicing and monthly inspections on stock machines
Order and organise workshop tools
Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures
Maintain clean and tidy worksite and work vehicles
Key Skills:
Experience and qualifications e.g., City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ qualifications in plant maintenance
Three years’ experience as a technician and ideally management experience
Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
Strong customer service skills
