The iGaming (sports betting and casino) industry is an exciting and diverse online area to work in. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to help manage and increase performance across numerous websites focusing on the UK and US markets.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills. Flexible and remote working is available for the ideal candidate, with the chance to manage themselves and attend the office monthly.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in search engine optimisation. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of onsite and offsite ranking factors.
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimising and growing a portfolio of web assets. This requires input into current strategies, monitoring current trends, and a strong ability to execute efficiently and effectively.
The SEO specialist should be comfortable configuring WordPress websites, adding new content, and updating existing content.
Responsibilities
* Managing projects utilising internal and external resources
* Recommend and implement changes to website architecture, content, offsite, and other factors to improve SERP positions to target keywords
* Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are correctly implemented
* Research and analyse competitors
* Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
* Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimisation
* Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
* Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies
* Track, report and analyse website performance of ongoing campaigns.
Job Requirements
* Proven SEO experience
* Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
* In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFS, Majestic SEO)
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
* Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
* Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
* Experience registering and setting up websites
* Experience working in highly competitive SERPS – advantageous but not essential
* Execution of personal projects in the SEO space – advantageous but not essential
Hours and Pay
* Full time, permanent
* £33-37,000/annum
* Hybrid working – expected to be working in the office 1-2 times a week
* 8 hours a day
