SENIOR Treasury Management Systems (TMS) CONSULTANT – LONDON

Treasury Systems Software Vendor – LONDON

The primary responsibility of a Senior Consultant is the ownership and accountability for the delivery of Treasury Management System implementations to corporate customers across EMEA. The role encompasses the scoping of client treasury system requirements, system configurations and implementations, as well as treasury process consulting. As required, Senior Consultants may also be involved in a pre-sales phase to add advice and expertise during the selection process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

– Delivering professional services for implementation of treasury software according to agreed contracts, statements of work and project plans

– Delivering expert consultancy through business and functional analysis of client requirements, data configuration, testing and issue resolution of software implementation

– Advising clients on optimal setup in clients’ context for cash and liquidity management, payments, intercompany netting, risk management, compliance, and third party receivables management.

– Project management based on PMI principles including project charters, timelines (WBS & Gantt), usage reports, change & stakeholder management

– Build trust by communicating effectively with clients about status and issues, developing and presenting convincing recommendations that address key client objectives, setting appropriate expectations with client and managing them throughout the project life cycle

– First point of contact for client questions that require further subject matter expertise

– Coordinate with professional services colleagues and other internal departments to manage client issues in a timely and effective manner

– Champion and encourage the promotion and delivery of practices which drive up customer satisfaction through all aspect of the business

– Participate in internal meetings to disseminate client issues, required enhancements and lessons learned

– Stay up to date on treasury compliance and regulations

– As availability allows, support Sales to provide pre-sales expertise on RFP/RFI, demonstrations and prospect workshops

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

– 10+ years of treasury experience in corporate treasury or treasury consulting role

– Experience in a consulting / professional services business preferred, specifically implementing treasury management systems

– Excellent knowledge of corporate treasury needs and requirements, and best industry practices specifically in regards to treasury and payments systems

– Strong customer support skills with demonstrated ability in effectively dealing with escalated customer concerns

– Pro-active attitude to carry projects forward and account for project progressions

– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

– Ability to scope workflows and requirements, and translate into system context with a solution-oriented approach

– Positive attitude and enjoy working in a collaborative manner

– Enjoy achieving high customer satisfaction

– Preferred: Knowledge in Financial Risk Management and Accounting practices including Hedge Accounting associated with Corporates’ Treasury functions preferred but not essential

– Knowledge of SaaS delivery methodologies preferred. To understand the dynamics involved with the design of a SaaS system and the challenges involved in delivering SaaS based functionality
