Job Description:
Our clients Dublin site has been requested by it’s corporate headquarters to commence basic design on a project that is envisaged to cost in the tens of millions.
This will be an expansion of an existing plant with duplications, replacements and changes in technology.
These will include new Spray Dryer, reactors, scrubbers, utilities, etc.
Initially the senior Process Engineer will be expected to work with the sites Engineers and SME’s and lead the creation of a Basis of Design used to bring on board an Engineering company to deliver a +/- 10% design and bring certain long lead items to procurement stage.
The person will continue on working on behalf of the client on the project.
Person Spec:
Chemical Engineer. 10+ years’ experience minimum.
Experienced in plant capacity calculations, equipment sizing, utilities sizing and general chemical synthesis reaction and purification technology involving hazardous chemicals.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent team building and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrable track record in successful managing and delivering projects from outset to conclusion on time and budget
