Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum
Duties:
To undertake mechanical design works and project management of numerous projects predominantly in healthcare but also education and other public and commercial sectors.
The role requires both the design of systems and supervision of others both in the local office and also other offices within the group.
HNC preferably degree qualified Chartered preferred.
Senior engineer with experience of designing mechanical systems including water, ventilation, drainage, heating and cooling.
Some client facing ability would be advantageous and also IS / TAS skills.
Main Responsibilities:
To undertake engineering services design and consultancy work on behalf of the company under the direction of the line manager or project leader. To undertake calculations, production of drawings, specifications and reports, site surveys, client liaison, liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing and any other relevant duty required to comply with the project brief.
Ideally we are looking for applicants with district heating or large heating systems or process plant systems experience, experience of leisure centres/pools, experience of large commercial projects
