Salary : £24000 – £26000/annum

 

Francesca’s Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer. This is a permanent full time role for a Key working company based in Chesterfield, fantastic opportunity.

The Role has arisen for a Senior Payroll Officer, required to work on a variety of payrolls, both monthly and weekly for multiple companies within the organisations wider group. This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to further their career and develop with fast growing company.

Senior Payroll Officer Role Responsibilities:

* Inputting and calculating pay accurately and timely

* Calculating statutory payments

* Administering expenses and deductions

* Dealing with HMRC issues and compliance

* Administering the company pension scheme and auto-enrolment requirements

* Processing holiday pay

* Processing starters and leavers

* Dealing with payroll queries

* Processing year end payroll

* Administration of personal records, ensuring accuracy

* Assisting with HR administration

* Management of own workload

Senior Payroll Officer Essential Requirements:

* Previous payroll knowledge and experience is essential

* Experience of using Sage 50 or QuickBooks would be an advantage

* Attention to detail

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* Ability to problem solve and resolve queries

* Ability to use own initiative

Location – Chesterfield

Hours – Monday – Friday 8.30am -5pm although could be flexible on start times

Salary

* Salary depending on experience £24,000 -£26,000 +

* 22 days holidays + Stats

* Pension

* Free Parking
