The Role

A strong background in media planning and buying media across all off and online channels is essential for this role.

Working closely with the senior management team, your job will be focused on managing client campaigns, from their initial briefing and strategic development through to the resultant media planning and buying.

You will help drive strategy, understand key objectives, and make sure our clients’ brand messages are represented through thoughtful and effective media campaigns, delivered on time and within budget. It's a role that will suit someone taking the next step in their media career.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Delivery of the media planning and buying process including: share of voice analysis; brand audit, identifying moments of relevance; audience insights and media measurement, adding strategic value where relevant;

Help develop key client and media owner relationships, determining the best media mix for campaigns;

Develop and review media budgets with Client Service teams;

Negotiate with media channels to secure best value for client campaigns;

Monitor performance of both online and offline campaigns, providing regular reporting on campaign results;

Optimise advertising strategies for varying audiences and media channels;

Work on new business opportunities including pitch presenting.

Relevant account management administration e.g. maintaining up-to-date media plans across all of your brands at all times; status meetings, competitive analysis, meeting agendas, contact reports, post campaign review reporting, liaison with studio colleagues and general team coordination.

Essential Criteria/Requirements:

University Degree or equivalent relevant qualification;

At least three years’ agency experience working in a media planning/buying role;

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working across all media channels;

Can demonstrate significant understanding and working knowledge of relevant media planning and buying tools including TGI;

Can demonstrate a track record of generating innovative and results-driven media solutions;

Ability to manage and combine data;

Strong decision-making skills;

Excellent communication skills;

Team oriented and multi-tasker – you will have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills and be able to manage a number of projects and deliver high quality campaigns within tight deadlines;

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential

Any ad hoc duties as required.

Experience of using the Concept Integrated Systems software would be desirable, but not essential.


Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
