Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
A nationally know M&E contractor are looking for a senior m&e quantity surveyor to join their team working predominantly on commercial new builds and fit outs. If you believe you are at or are ready for the responsibilities of a senior quantity surveyor then read on.
Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
You will ideally have been working as a quantity surveyor for the last 10 years, specifically on projects from £5m to £50m in the commercial market either fit out or new build.
You’ll have finished your quantity surveying degree and be skilled at budgeting, reporting, developing BOQ’s and profit plans.
You will also be comfortable working at a senior level administering contract obligations (and any additional client requirements) and undertaking / managing commercial meetings with the client and internal project team.
You will also need to have experience negotiating on your own, on the spot, as necessary with the client and sub contractors.

The company predominantly conduct their work in London but have recently made acquisitions that have spread their reach into the rest of the UK.
They employ hundreds of staff and are FTSE listed so if you want to work for a larger company this could be it.
The Requirements
* Minimum 7+ years of Quantity surveying experience essential on commercial projects
* QS Degree Qualified
* Proficient in excel.
* Detailed knowledge of commercial management and QS Role within construction
* Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
* Overall understanding of the business, client and Sub Contractor relations, and installations
* Excellent Communication/Interpersonal Skills
* Excellent Record Keeping and Administration Skills
* Process driven and focused on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
Salary and Package
