My Client is looking for a Senior Insight Executive to join the team.
What we need from you
If it requires building understanding about the role and effectiveness of radio advertising through data-driven insight, then you will be at the heart of it. So this is a role for an interested, outgoing, imaginative, and intelligent researcher with a minimum 2 years of media-research experience, looking for a position in which your skills will play a valuable role and make a real difference to our members and their customers.
A radio lover with good all-round understanding of the broader advertising and media world is a must. With responsibility for presenting ad effectiveness results to ad agencies and advertisers, you will also be confident when meeting and presenting to new people, delivering clear findings, best-practice learning, and recommendations to your audience. In this context, this role provides a real opportunity to boost profile within the advertising industry.
You will be a team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to create and present a clear and engaging research story, as part of a bigger picture.
We are small outfit so you will need to be both an independent thinker/operator – taking full responsibility for delivery of your objectives – and a team player, making a valuable contribution to the success of the overall organisation.
You will have experience of working in media sales or agency-side (research or media) and, ideally, be familiar with industry research (e.g. IPA Touchpoints, JICs, Nielsen Ad Intel) and have knowledge relating to the development of bespoke advertising effectiveness studies/sales support research.
The role
There is a lot of variety in this full-time (hybrid: c. 3/2) role. You will:
* Take ownership of the day-to-day running long-term, award-winning, radio effectiveness programme – liaising with our external research partner, presenting regularly to advertising customers, providing relevant context for all campaign results.
* Collate and report radio advertising revenue information, working closely with the radio groups to provide an accurate picture of trends within the commercial radio advertising marketplace.
* Help answer ad-hoc requests to help advertisers use radio more effectively.
* Be a key member of the presenting team for our monthly customer training course
* Work alongside the Planning Director and Head of Insight to contribute towards the development of new strategic research projects.
* Develop new web content and contribute to the company’s social committee.
