Salary : £26500/annum

Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Gardener on a full time, permanent basis, based in South East London. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £26,500 per annum.
What we're looking for in our Senior Gardener:
* Experience looking after extensive high quality horticultural features
* Extensive Horticultural Knowledge supported by qualifications and or experience
* Working alongside and supporting apprenticeship rolls
What you can expect to be doing as our Senior Gardener:
* Carrying out horticultural maintenance including, grass cutting, planting, weeding and formative pruning and management of a wide range of landscape types including organising workloads according to season
* Supporting apprentice role
* Maintaining water features
* Ensuring that paths are salted
* Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment and uniform provided by the organisation
* Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all work colleagues and tenants to ensure an integrated contribution to the organisation’s objectives
* Taking a proactive role in the positive resolution of complaints
* Representing the organisation positively both internally and externally
* Reporting any defects using appropriate systems for both work related and estate-based issues
* Positively comply with the organisation’s policies, procedures and systems ensuring compliance with the needs of legal, regulatory and statutory bodies as well as best practice principles
* Observing, delivering, continually promoting and acting in accordance with the organisation’s Health and Safety, equal opportunities and customer care policies and procedures
* Undertaking other tasks as reasonably required to meet the varying demands of the service and of the organisation
* Following Peabody Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure, as far as is practicable, your own safety and that of others in the workplace. You may be required to undertake specific Health and Safety roles such as Fire Warden or First Aider as part of your duties
