One of our clients is looking to recruit a creative Senior Editor to join their team based in London. They are a non-fiction publisher with a broad range of content across a number of subject areas including luxury lifestyle, arts, architecture, historical and heritage. This is an amazing opportunity for Editors who enjoy working in a fast paced environment, writing and editing content, and collaborating closely with clients and publishing partners. You will be managing projects across 3 different imprints, so good multitasking and prioritisation skills are essential!

Key responsibilities include:

* Edit and proofread copy with a keen eye for clarity, syntax, grammar and accuracy

* Write high-quality content to deadline across a range of subjects, formats and styles

* Project manage new titles and brief editors and writers as necessary

* Liaise effectively with third-party clients and partners

* Conduct editorial interviews with clients and partners as necessary

The successful candidate will have a background of working on highly illustrated books and experience of working with clients and publishing partners . You will have a good eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple projects on tight schedules and deadlines. You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to build and manage effective working relationships. You will be proficient and highly skilled using InDesign.
