Our division is a recently consolidated into a standalone Custom Solutions team. We are growing strongly and now looking to transform its delivery organization.
Role Overview
To contribute to bespoke projects of consumer insight across key markets, categories and trends, primarily through the authoring of content, but also using data visualization and data modelling techniques. Most of the analysis comes in the form of written reports published in PowerPoint, as well as excel deliverables. The goal is to maintain and enhance GlobalData’s reputation as a provider of exceptional insight, helping the business decisions of hundreds of clients, ranging from start-ups to blue-chip companies
We are currently recruiting Senior Consultants who have an interest and expertise in delivering projects for global FMCG brands. Focusing on critical business intelligence, researching, and analyzing how consumer behaviors and trends are driving their industries and are likely to shape future market development. At GlobalData we work with some of the most successful companies in the world, helping thousands of companies, government organizations, and industry professionals profit from faster, more informed decisions.
Desired capabilities of Senior Insights Analyst:
– Prior experience of working in market research or an FMCG environment is desired
– Excellent written English, with other language skills a bonus
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, as both are pivotal to the role
– Deliver strong written analysis in PowerPoint formats (Qualitative data)
– Be comfortable working with and manipulating datasets (Quantitative data)
– Be able to develop a story with primary, secondary, data inputs for our clients
– Research competitive intelligence and monitor strategies of our clients’ competitors
– Identify customer insights and trends in FMCG sectors
– Understand our client needs and support strategy development through project deliverables
– Provide insight and strong recommendations, demonstrating thought leadership for our clients
– Work as part of a team to ensure content is produced to meet deadlines and high quality
– Assist project teams to strengthen client relationships
– Display enthusiasm and teamwork
– Effectively manage their own time and plan workloads
– The ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data and translate into clear, actionable recommendations
– A curious mindset and willingness to engage with the industry is crucial to excelling in the role
– Confident communication skills
– A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline, ideally from a leading university or equivalent commercial experience
