SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE IN NEWMARKET, SUFFOLK – JOB REF: JO31439
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Newmarket, providing excellent services to a wide range of clients across the region. This company is looking to take on an experienced professional due to continued growth and expansion.
The ideal candidate for this position would be someone that is either ACCA or ACA qualified, however candidates deemed qualified by experience will definitely be considered. A minimum of 5 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Strong technical experience and knowledge in Statutory Accounts preparation and Tax returns is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* Corporation tax computations and company tax returns.
* Supervision and training of junior staff members.
* Developing good working relationships with both new and existing clients.
Candidates Attributes:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.
* ACCA or ACA qualified OR QBE.
* Strong experience of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is necessary.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage own time to meet deadlines.
