Gain Education are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is looking for an exciting new role at a large, vibrant Primary School in Dartford. You will join a very welcoming KS1 team to help assist children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis and in groups.
The successful applicant for this SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have SEN teaching assistant experience, having worked with children with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD or Global Delay.
If you would like to be considered for this role you will have:
* Previous experience working with SEN Children
* The ability to use your initiative
* The ability to manage challenging behaviour
* Ideally have knowledge of BSL, Makaton, Team Teach, SPELL/ TEACCH
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve a combination of in-class support & 1:1 work outside of the classroom.
