SEN Teaching Assistant

As the primary consultant here at TARA, I’m currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to begin working within an established mainstream primary school in Shropshire, to start immediately in an ongoing placement.
The school promotes and maintains a calm and friendly atmosphere and culture and have a modern and holistic approach to learning.
The school has a number of SEN pupils, and this role will be diverse, offering the chance to work one to one with a young boy aged 4 years old, who has a range of different educational needs; including attachment disorder, ASD, ADHD & SEMH
Positions will be initially offered for a day’s trial with a view to full time fixed term.
The Right Applicant Will Have ALL Of The Following
* Experience working in either a Key Stage 1 environment
* The ability to be flexible and organised
* An obvious passion for assisting at primary level
* Experience working with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and ADHD
* Experience of working with the SENDCO
