Gammies Groundcare Forfar (Part of A. M. Phillip) is recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Mechanic/Engineer.
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Engineer who has experience repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment with good troubleshooting skills.
The role is depot based and candidates need previous experience working as a Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Engineer.
As the Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Repairing Horticultural & Agricultural Equipment (additional training provided)
* Operation of equipment involved in the above
* Assembly of equipment
As a Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Engineer you must be able to work on your own and as part of a team with the ability to communicate at all levels. Previous recent experience in the Horticultural or Agricultural Machinery industry preferred, although not essential.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous Mechanical experience is essential
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong understanding of a Mechanical environment
Training will be given to the right candidate
