Second Chef

The Bird in Hand at Wreningham is seeking a talented Senior chef with proven track record to develop their career in our high-quality establishment. We are a country pub/restaurant with bed and breakfast accommodation situated near the town of Wymondham, and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service seven days a week, using fresh seasonal and locally sourced produce where possible.
Working alongside our Head Chef and culinary team you will be involved in (And not limited to) menu planning, service, Environmental Health requirements, sourcing of produce and ensuring our high standards are maintained. This is a full time position and will involve evening and weekend work.
You must have previous experience in a similar role together with the appropriate qualifications and hygiene certification. There are excellent opportunities for career progression within the role so ambition and dedication are essential qualities in the right candidate.
Please note you must have your own transportation as there is no public provision locally.
Salary level is dependent on experience. Plus an equal share of staff tips.
