Exciting opportunity to join a company who have still continued to thrive during a pandemic! A brand new opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing company based in Cardiff as a Sales Co-ordinator. Working within a team of 4 you will work closely with the external sales team, however, please note this is NOT a sales role! It is very much a supporting and co-ordinating role, ensuring that customers’ orders are processed on time and that they receive their orders on time and have a point of contact should any issues arise – you will also support the external field sales representatives, with their orders and any of their customer enquiries – hence why communication and order processing skills are essential for this role.
The role does involve a lot of order processing, so you must enjoy being at a PC and inputting orders and ensuring they are inputted accurately. You will have a pleasant and upbeat telephone manner and be able to demonstrate good customer service as you are the voice of the company, there to assist customers with any enquiry or issue. It should however, be mentioned this is not a call centre role, and as much as you will speak and liaise with customers, the role isn’t solely customer service due to the amount of orders that need processing.
The nature of this company is one of culture, working as a team player, thus the successful candidate will have a can do and willing attitude to work. A positive attitude is essential as is the need for attention to detail to ensure all orders are processed on time and correctly and that Customers are dealt with in a professional manner… Customers are king to this business, thus as a Sales Co-ordinator you will understand the importance of customers and orders.
Key duties:
* Communicating and liaising with customers to keep them up to date with the progress of their orde
* Ensuring that all orders are processed correctly and in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensuring deadlines are met on a daily basis
* Ensuring a plan is put into place to ensure escalated problems or issues are addressed
* Assisting with and resolving any issues regarding stock and orders
* Assisting and supporting the internal & external team with order enquiries
* Create and help with processing customer purchase orders
* Providing proof of delivery information to customers
* Making sure deadlines are met on a daily basis with regards to orders being dispatched on time.
* Assisting with and resolving any customer problems in a timely manner
* Answer all incoming calls and assist with enquiry
* Maintaining customer back order reports and advising and keep updated
* Supporting your team and assisting them when required
* Assisting and supporting the Sales Co-ordinator Team Leader

This role will command a salary £21,000 – £22,000 per annum, there is also an annual bonus scheme. 23 days holiday + bank holidays are offered and this increases to 25 days + bank holidays after year 1. A young and vibrant office environment, the management team are upbeat and hands on and regularly put on social events. Due to this Clients location there is parking on site too.
