The company have an extensive branch network across the whole of the UK and Middle East with continued expansion on a Global scale.
A requirement has now arisen with the business for an Internal Sales Executive;
The role
Pro-actively supporting existing customers to maximise sales and customer service opportunities. The company is an SME which has a family feel and actively pushes progression through the business.
Responsibilities
* Be proactive in maximising sales of products either by taking orders or converting the enquiry to an on-site sales visit
* Assist customers with enquiries such as product selection , price, stock availability, and discounts
* Provide technical information and documentation to customers where required by post, email or from our website
* Issue quotations, recording the information onto the CRM database
* Assist and provide technical support to our distributor and installer customers
* Support the Business Development Manager in their sales efforts where necessary
* Check incoming customer orders for technical correctness
* Be proactive in suggesting improvements to processes to improve the business and increase efficiency
* Identify potential opportunities for future business expansion
Requirements
* Previous Internal Sales, Inside Sales or Account Management experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Distribution type environment
* Proficient in the use of IT systems/Microsoft Office
* Customer focused
* Knowledge and experience of Stock Management Systems
* Knowledge of Cables and Connectors would be desirable but not essential
