This company is a European conglomerate with strategically positioned production facilitates globally and unrivalled influence at every stage in the supply chain.
Our client has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Steel Sales Executive to join the successful UK sales team with a view to managing a set portfolio of key accounts within white goods and associated sectors who utilise processed steel coil products. Alongside maximising revenue within the designated accounts, there will be additional onus on business development to secure new business within the designated territory.
This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales executive from the steel industry with experience in processed coil products to join a market leader who can offer unrivalled promotional opportunities both in the UK and Europe.
Key skill set include
4 -5 years’ experience within the Steel or Metals industry, Carbon Steel preferred
A proven track record in exceeding sales targets
The ability to generate and follow up leads
Excellent account management skills with the capacity to grow existing opportunities as well as hunt and win new business
Experience in selling into associated industries; White Goods, Manufacturing, Automotive, Shop Fittings, etc.
Appreciation of Carbon Steel grades, testing, coatings, with the ability to provide technical assistance to customers when required
Clear understanding of the manufacturing process
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build up rapport
Internal and External sales
Candidates who have held the following job titles within the steel or metals industry will be considered above all else;
