BelkavitzSloan are proud to work in partnership with an internationally renowned producer of Sheet Piling and Foundation products for the construction industry and Civil Engineering sector. The focus of the Account Manager will be to assist with the increase in profitable sales of Sheet Piling and Foundation products by being an integral part of a team that provides engineering solutions to accompany its expansive raw product portfolio.

The position will involve you in some of the largest and most critical construction projects within the UK and Ireland including; roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customer enquires / prepare quotations and follow up as required – manage enquires from cradle to grave with support of the Sheet Piling commercial team.
• Communicate with Principal and customers at all levels to ensure optimum service levels to both client and customer.
• Check accuracy of pricing / information on all documentation and customer’s order, advise management in case of differences.
• Process orders in SAP and check that all technical / commercial details are accurately transmitted
• Originate / request / distribute commercial documentation as required.
• Follow up and keep customers advised of delivery phasing / lead times.
• Prepare and maintain order files with all documentation relating to the order and subsequent documentation, ensure check sheets are issued and completed.
• Initiate and coordinate as necessary the progressing where special action is required to avoid delay in critical situations.
• Monitor and keep customer advised of material held Ex-Works or at Antwerp / UK ports / Shoreham Yard / etc..
• Check and monitor customer credit status at enquiry stage and ensure sufficient cover available in relation to planned business.
• Assist in the maintenance of the customer database.
• Maintain regular communication with sales support team ensuring all information remains up to date.
• Maintain close contact with customers personnel and team colleagues to ensure optimum results.
• Liaise with customer to support colleagues on monthly Encashment issues
