The Company: High-End Bespoke Kitchens, Furniture & Architectural Joinery

They are involved with the designing, making and installation of domestic rooms with fitted furniture and architectural joinery. All their projects are bespoke; therefore they tailor their work to fit their clients’ needs and tastes.
The Role: Kitchen Sales Designer
Their clients expect a thoroughly professional approach with outstanding design solutions, products and service. In this role you will therefore need to demonstrate a flair for creative solutions with both design and practicality in mind. You will need to have a fine eye and attention to detail and be extremely thorough in the design and delivery of your projects.
They use a wide variety of materials and design styles to meet their client’s brief and it is therefore important that you have a good understanding of historical furniture and joinery design and construction.
They work in both modern and period houses. Their schemes are designed to work in harmony with the architecture of the building therefore appreciation and knowledge of period detailing is important.
The Candidate: Kitchen Sales Designer
A knowledge of timber, timber technology, wood veneers, wood finishes/techniques, cabinet making and joinery construction methods essential.
A knowledge of quality kitchen appliances, work surfaces and sanitary ware would be beneficial.
You will be responsible for representing the company in a highly professional manner. You will be at the forefront of communications with their clients and expected to be punctual, smart in appearance, courteous and confident.
Written and drawn communications need to be of a very high standard. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling needs to be correct. Content must be clear, concise and relevant.
You will need to be open to working collaboratively with other members of the design team in all aspects of the design process and project management.
You will be required to work to design standards and protocols set by the company.
You will be expected to continuously improve, evolve and add design solutions to their internal component data base during your work.
Skills required for the role are:
* Minimum 5 years kitchen design experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* CAD user preferable
* Proficient Microsoft Office user
* Proven Sales History
