The VP Sales I am looking for has the opportunity to define and build this companies sales team, you will be an ambassador of their brand, stay true to their values, all whilst managing and growing a team of BDE’s and BDM’s. You will be the go-to person for strategic business development, for supporting your team members, and identifying new market verticals.
So, what do they do?
They develop AI Conversational platforms, to improve the effectiveness of Chatbots. They are a small-ish company, with offices overseas as well as their HQ being over here, in Berkshire, but obviously, you will need to be pretty comfortable with remote onboarding and remote leadership (for the time being!).
They are very much in start-up mode, so don’t expect to be putting your feet up in a pretty lax environment. You’ll need to be ON IT. ALL over it, in fact. Go-to-market strategies, hiring, firing (hopefully not!), managing, pipeline building and most of all leading.
Leading by example.

Your personality and track record means a lot to them, but these following points mean a lot to them too:
* 10 years’ combined experience of individual contribution and managing SaaS teams
* Experience having built a team and devised a strategy that has exceeded revenue targets
* Channel Partnership experience
