B-25k – 30k ote 40-60k + open-ended. Fully expensed, Company Car or Car Allowance, Holidays, Contributory Pension
Requires Hunter attitude, 3-5 years plus field sales experience. Extremely motivated , driven and competitive.
THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for an extremely driven and self-motivated individual of graduate calibre with 3-5 years plus successful field sales experience who wants to move into the medical sales arena. It is likely that you will have a background within property, insurance, recruitment, cars or beverages although the company is open to candidates from other industry sectors.
The role will involve selling solutions to users (dentists, consultants, orthodontists, etc.) across your geographical territory. You will do this through research, identification and contacting potential and existing customers. The sales process can be lengthy and generally involves an initial cold call to complete essential fact finding and build rapport with the gatekeeper. This will be followed by a face-to-face visit to find more about the organization and arrange an appointment with the decision maker. Generally, you will be expected to close sales on a first or second visit with the dental consultant.
Other responsibilities include:
To achieve assigned sales targets and objectives Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services To identify, select, meet, prospective customers, generate sales leads, respond to sales enquiries to secure new accounts.
Account management of existing customers
IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will need to be extremely driven and have the ability to secure sales combined with a strong intellect in order to understand and communicate the technical aspects of their entire product range. The sales approach for this role is consultative, however, you will need to be extremely self-motivated to thrive in this position. You are selling the value of the product rather than undercutting competitors’ prices. You will also need to be adaptable to the personalities of the consultants, be extremely bright and have strong communication skills in order to win over your target market.
