Objectives
Supported by lead generation from the wider sales team and targeted smart marketing campaigns, the main objective is to generate new recurring revenue streams from the core products of Connectivity (Broadband and Ethernet) and Hosted Voice through: 1) acquiring existing competitor supplied bases from the Groups other business units (BU) existing resellers; 2) cross-selling in to the Groups other BU’s existing resellers; 3) Identifying other non DWS resellers with bases to acquire or who could resell our UC portfolio of services
Responsibilities
* To build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to support the achievement of sales targets
* Deliver against set sales targets, key business objectives and individual key performance indicators.
* To work closely with the Account Managers and Directors – both field and desk based.
* Produce weekly/monthly sales reports including sales forecasts.
* Create and deliver successful customer presentations and proposals – (at all levels).
* Identify new sales opportunities to maximise growth and revenue within your territory or market segment.
* To interface in to DWS functions e.g., product development and marketing teams, providing market feedback on various aspects including price trends and competitor activity.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* Demonstrable sales experience in the competitive Unified Communications (UC) environment.
* An up-to-date awareness of the UC arena
* Demonstrable evidence of achieving / exceeding targets in the in-direct space
* Field sales experience
* Experience in working within the wholesale marketplace
* Experience of successfully selling into various reseller types and size.
* Extensive knowledge of your specialist area.
* Solid sales skills including lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting and closing.
* Ability to develop strategic relationships at a senior level
* Ability to communicate and generate business at all levels
* Good verbal, written and presentation skills
* Ability to galvanize internal resources to assist in achievement of your sales targets
A strong product and competitor knowledge of UC including the following areas.
* Broadband, EFM and Leased Line services
* Cloud/hosted Telephony
* Data SD-WANs
* WLR, SIP, CPS & NTS
