Are you looking for a New Business Development role in sales in a fast – growing company in a buoyant sector?

Our client is offering a great opportunity for you to work in some of the most interesting and cutting-edge areas of the information business, including high-value enterprise sales, data sales and an established, market-leading global conference.

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales, who themselves has successfully progressed within the organisation and successfully sold within the business information industry over many years. The business believes in continuous learning and business improvement with a short cycle between action, results and response.

You will be a highly driven, self-starting and accomplished business development manager with excellent presentations skills, strong consultative sales ability and an excellent understanding of B2B subscription businesses.

What our client is looking for?

* Our client is a hands-on, successful business and you will need to be both a mature self-starter and a great team player

* You will need good experience in selling B2B information products/services, ideally including online subscriptions or membership services.

* Proven track record in generating new business, consistently beating target and performing in the top quartile of a team

* Be a true new business hunter that thrives on winning

* Exceptional networking skills – able to penetrate target organisations to drive the right engagement to win business

* A confident communicator with gravitas, able to sell consultatively and tailor converting solutions for prospects

* The aptitude to use Salesforce effectively and ideally some experience of doing so

* An excellent people manager with a coaching style that has been shown to develop others
