The Company
Our client manufacture packaging primarily for the food sector. We supply all the major supermarket chains via food packing companies. We have a blue chip customer base. Our key strengths lie in working closely with our customers to produce innovative solutions to their packaging needs.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your sales career in a successful, dynamic company.
You will report to a Sales Project Manager and take responsibility for a number of accounts.
The main objectives of the role are to evaluate customer needs and provide solutions. You will look after our existing customer base, create sales opportunities with new customers and develop business with existing customers, allied to company marketing strategy. This will mean that you will need to develop very close relationships with customers evaluating how we can best provide what they need.
The Person
The successful candidate will need to have the following:
* Sales experience, preferably in a business to business environment.
* Excellent project management skills with experience of Account Management.
* Knowledge of IT applications especially MS Office
In addition any experience selling technically based solutions would be beneficial as would any experience of the packaging or food industries or dealing with the major retail multiples.
