Business Development Manager

Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum OTE £50,000
My Client are a leader in the intelligent software and mobile solutions sector within the energy efficiency and renewables industry.
Due to ongoing success they are looking for a Business Development Manager.
Candidates need to be have a technical background and be able to pick up a new system quickly as well as having excellent people skills.
The role will suit a candidate who has a problem solving mindset/mentality and who is hungry and driven to succeed and provide solutions to clients.
Most clients are white collar workers so candidates need to be able to speak to them on their level – we are not looking for someone who is overly 'polished'.
Leads are generally a mixture of warm (60%) and cold (40%) however recently there has been a high number of inbound leads so the emphasis has been on converting.
It is not a hard sell environment so is much more suited to someone with experience of a softer, consultative sell.
Bonus/commission structure is currently being finalised but will include an element based on revenue which is shared amongst the team. Bonuses are paid quarterly.
OTE £45,000 – £50,000
Some client meetings are taking place and there are 2xBMW and 1xMazda pool cars available (possibly being upgraded to Tesla's).
Candidate will be give company iPad & phone.
