Fantastic opportunity for an exceptional sales person to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of fabrics who genuinely care and support their staff. Strong territory sales management experience required developing new business and managing existing accounts. Industry experience is not required.
ROLE: Responsible for sales of high quality range of fabrics into a wide range of industry sectors including education, healthcare, hospitality, outdoor. The role is selling directly to manufacturers and contractors. You will be involved in maximising current business opportunities and managing existing relationships. You will also be responsible for developing relationships with new customers. Dealing with both the end-user and contract marketplace. You will maintain regular contact with clients and be responsible for developing and maintain relationships. You will keep up-to-date with competitor activity and trends and continue to raise brand awareness in upholstery supplies and solutions.
Covering a territory which will incorporate the whole of the North of England and Scotland; the majority of clients are based around the M62 corridor. but may spend up to 2 nights a week away from home.
PERSON:
Exceptional salesperson possessing a dynamic, energetic personality with a drive to succeed and passionate about their product with a proven track record in field sales. Experience of securing sales within the contract marketplace so have an understanding of specification selling is ideal but not essential. In this role, you will also be responsible for dealing with manufacturers and end users. Experience within fabrics, flooring, wall coverings, contract interiors or a similar marketplace again would be desirable but isn't essential. Skilled in direct sales, negotiation, relationship management and new business development is essential. You will be personable, dynamic, enthusiastic and have genuine “get up and go”.
