I’m working with a well-established major player in the Managed Print Services sector who are after an experience Sales Account Manager to cover the North West area of their sales division. The worlds changing and you’ll need a company that’s moving with it so rest assured you’ll be given the autonomy to manage your own desk to best deliver results as well as the faith and trust to work remotely. There is no micromanagement, it is a position based on results and delivery. It sounds a cliché, but if your figures are right and you are delivering against your targets then you will certainly reap the rewards.
You will get perks like a car or car allowance (which you get to decide), phone, laptop, competitive commission structure (to be discussed in person) and various other company incentives.
Naturally, with any sales-based role, you will be expected to win new business, but be reassured that it’s not going to be a case of throwing you a yellow pages and wishing you luck as there’s roughly 60-80 existing accounts for you to get your teeth stuck into from the offset. I guess the ideal start would be to maximise profits on these immediately, meaning if you apply yourself well then you will not be waiting long before you start turning commission.
Due to the size and growth, there’s also various divisions within the company meaning this allows you the opportunity to cross sell into other areas, which will ultimately result in even more money for you!
It’s straight forward really, they want a pretty mixed bag in terms of results where new business and existing business is concerned, so if you’re not prepared to dig deep and win accounts as well then it’s probably not worth applying anyway.
Requirements:
* Experience in a solutions-based field sales role
* MPS experience would be an advantage, however, it is not essential
* North West based
* Steady career history (no 6 months here, 6 months there)
It is always a funny one when advertising for salespeople because it can often appear over complicated when it really does not need to be. We just want good people who want to work hard, and if you are prepared to dig deep and show how passionate you are about getting result after result, then this really could be a life changing opportunity.
