Salary : £30000 – £45000/annum + Bonus/Commission

We have been retained by one of the South's most capable high quality print businesses to add new talent to their sales team.

The opportunity is geared to suit someone with a long term career plan, who is happy to become part of an already successful and profitable print business, and would be keen to develop their career into a more senior role over time. In short, this role is part of a medium to long-term sucession plan, and we're very interested in finding like-minded individuals to discuss the opportunity with.

Primary Objective

To help increase print sales turnover for the business unit, who are targeting a turnover increase from £700k pa to £1.2m pa by the end of 2021.

Secondary Objective

To build on the business' existing Indigo digital print capability.

The Role

The Sales Manager – Digital Print role is a key recruit for the future success of our client's business unit. The selected individual is foreseen as central to the growth and development of the Bath/Bristol business unit.

You will be targeted to seek out and win new print business within the Bath/Bristol geographic areas within end-user businesses in the creative and corporate sectors.

Your focus will be on delivering a minimum of 50/50 B2 Litho/Digital print, ideally 25/75 of sustainable and regular long-term client business.

The Person

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a New Business role, selling mixed small format Digital and Litho print.

Will have a provable track record of consistent sales delivery.

Has experience selling print within the Bath, Bristol and South/South West areas.

Potentially has experience managing small sales teams.

Preferably has commercial/business management experience.

The Future

The role is intended to not only add turnover to the existing business unit, but also give it forward-looking impetus with more digital print focussed workload into the larger Group.

Your experience and skills will form the central hub of the long-term success and growth of the business unit. Ultimately with the potential to taking on leading and managing the business unit team itself.
