Hiring NOW for a BMS Project Sales Manager to join a large and successful BMS control systems specialist to help drive their continued growth throughout the Midlands and South-West of the UK.

Your target market will be end users, the public sector, main contractors and M&E contractors in the Midlands & South West regions.

You will be tasked with both working with existing customers to strengthen and grow current relationships, as well as targeting new customers for projects and major upgrade work opportunities.

Taking strong commercial responsibility, you will ensure that all works secured meet minimum margin, manage commercial risks and safeguard the profitability of the business.

THE ROLE

To work with existing customers and to target new customers for projects and major upgrade work opportunities from end users, public sector, main contractors and M&E contractors in the Midlands & South West regions. Ensuring that all works secured to meet the minimum margin, safeguarding profitability and expectations of the business and providing technical sales and support to achieve the region's sales targets.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Targeting consultants, M&E contractors and end users to secure BMS projects & large-scale upgrades.

* Promoting and selling the EON brand and understanding all of the sales propositions.

* Nurture and develop existing and new relationships with consultants and end users via technical presentations of integrated systems and building management products.

* Preparing quotations from drawings and specifications for projects with values up to £1.5M.

* To provide timely update reports and briefings, monthly reports of sales activity and order forecasts, to the Regional Manager.

* Be customer focused at all times and deliver outstanding customer service by displaying a positive and proactive approach on every occasion.

* Act in a manner that continuously improves your business performance.

* Forge and develop long-term relationships with existing and new key contacts and decision makers to safeguard any additional requirements

* Schedule regular contact with clients via telephone and email

* To work with the sales and projects teams to ensure the sales offering have clear objectives to winning business from competitors

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Qualifications

* Candidates should ideally have a minimum of three years of experience in the BMS Industry.

* Ideally have in-depth product knowledge of estimating, bid management, Building Management Systems.

* Have a good understanding of the Region and existing relationships with contractors, end users and consultants in the area.

* Ability to work under own initiative but work as part of a team.

* Superb communication & organisational skills.

* Commercial awareness.

* Good attention to detail.

* Self-motivated, responsible and accountable.

* Willing to add value at every level.

* Customer Service Skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing through use of Excel, Word & Outlook and in-house Management database & Financial systems.
