Salary : £45000 – £55000/annum OTE £100k + car allowance

New role for an experienced ERP Software Sales Executive – join this strategic partner of Sage, selling Sage X3. This job would suit an experienced ERP new business sales professional who has a track record of deals that combine solutions, consultancy, training, services, and software licenses. Home based most of the time, with travel to client sites, but the office is located in the south, so ideally you will live somewhere within 90 minutes commute of the Maidenhead, Basingstoke, Guildford area. Basic to £55k + double OTE, car allowance and benefits.

You will work with an experienced solutions sales team that are just too busy and need a top notch ERP deal maker to take on serious prospects and cover the whole sales process.

A phenomenal Pre-Sales team to back you up This is a full new business software sales role so you would need to have been involved in (and happy to continue) the entire process from lead generation, cold calling and email campaigns to create initial interest, through qualification, identifying critical business needs, qualified meetings, documentation, quotations & proposals, software demos, and controlling and closing opportunities.

You will be used to dealing with complex businesses with multiple companies and divisions covering manufacturing, distribution, accounting and ecommerce. This can sometimes be a tough job as the deal cycle for Sage X3 can be 3 months plus, deals are £200k to £1.5m, so it can take a while to get sign off, you have to work with multiple decision makers and you will need to sell to different sponsors within the company. However this also makes it challenging, and incredibly satisfying when you make the win.

Your team here would be the MD, the Sales Director, 1 new business Sales Executive, 1 Account Manager, 1 Software Sales Assistant to help with paperwork, diaries, cold calling and email campaigns and the marketing team. As well as a couple of superb Pre-Sales Consultants and the Implementation guys. They are selling Sage ERP X3 very well into the following markets: professional services such as accountants, lawyers, and fee earning firms, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage and even casinos.

You will take clients through the complete sales process, keeping track of the different decision makers and making sure the key sponsors remain "on side". This is very consultative selling as the client knows they have a need – you just need to understand the issues fully.
