Now this one is a little different;
We need a hybrid, a technical sales and commercial cooling expert, who is looking for that route up the career ladder.
If you’re currently working as an internal sales or applications engineer looking to move into sales, or alternatively an established salesperson with a strong technical bias this could be for you. But also, if you are a mechanical engineer from a contractor or consultant who is looking to move into sales this could be an option for you too, so keep reading!

If you’re lucky, talented and willing enough to grab this opportunity with two hands, you’ll be on the track to all this good stuff.
In this role you will be a critical member of the company, with responsibility for identifying, developing and leveraging existing business relationships with design consultants, end users, contractors and mechanical engineers.
Some things you’ll be involved with; Technical discussions, unit selections/ pricing , supporting existing sales agents, following up on quotes, working with consultants at the design stage to offer innovative solutions.
Speaking of which, consultants can be a tricky bunch. They want to hear about innovative, exciting and seamless solutions….at the right price. They want the reassurance of technical credibility from their equipment providers, and like us all, they want to enjoy the company of a familiar face.
So, for this one, you’ll need to be a competent sales/ technical engineer with in-depth knowledge of technologically advanced cooling solutions primarily for critical environments.
Have a good think about who you’re speaking to on a daily basis. If they work in Data Centres, building services, industrial and/or pharmaceutical markets, keep reading, you just ticked another few boxes!
What sort of people are we looking for?
You have regular technical discussions about CRAC units, Chillers, Dry/ Air blast and Adiabatic Coolers, In-row cooling and Indirect Air Economiser solutions.
You will be comfortable having these discussions with design consultants, end users, contractors and mechanical engineers from both a product function and sales perspective.
Your stomping grounds are Data Centres, building services, industrial and pharmaceutical markets.
If you’re a technically credible person that has integrity, and can succinctly offer customer focussed engineering solutions, that’ll probably help too.
