Sage 200 Junior Consultant or Sage 200 Support

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum

A long established and respected Sage consultancy need a junior level Sage 200 Consultant – so you might be currently working as a Sage 200 Support Analyst and looking to move into an implementation & training role, or you may have a year or two implementing Sage 200 at an end user or software reseller and want to grow your knowledge and skills. It is a fully remote position, you can live anywhere in the UK – it's a permanent home based role. They will pay up to £40k, but you may be more junior than that, earning £28k or more.

They need someone to help with consultancy, analysis and implementation and because the existing Sage team is very strong, they are able, and happy to, nurture a Junior Sage 200 Consultant or a Sage 200 Support person who wants to move into consulting and training.

You would work with one of the finest teams in the country – 9 people who cover support, business analysis, consultancy, training and development. This is not filling a knowledge gap, this is finding an extra pair of hands – someone who can do small consultancy projects and grow into a full blown Sage 200 Consultant. At the moment the implementation consultants vie with each other to work on the bigger, more complicated Sage 200 projects.

So this role is for someone to work on the smaller projects like software upgrades, new modules and Sage 200 add-ons. You will do the whole project from start to finish, so you will have a lot of responsibility and will be dealing with clients, but you will work on small projects initially that last up to around 10 days.

You will need to have worked with Sage 200 in a support or consulting role, they can teach you most other aspects of the job to fill the gaps in your skillset. They deal with all modules of Sage 200 and Sage 200cloud and all the different add-on products from Eureka, Sicon and Draycir. So there is lots of variety and the projects can be really interesting.

This role is home based. Clients are all over the UK, but you would rarely go on site and the job will not require onsite consulting, as it can all be done remotely. So you can live anywhere in the UK. As the world returns to normal there may be a requirement to go onsite occasionally but not for the foreseeable future.

You could be based in Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Southampton, Maidstone, Colchester, Gloucester – anywhere is fine.
