Robotics Software Engineer (C++)

Salary : £30000 – £45000/annum
Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a Lincoln-based robotics scale up to find a Robotics Software Engineer to join their rapidly expanding R&D team.
The job:
You’ll be working on novel autonomous robotic solutions for the farming and agriculture industry developing software enabling mobile robots to map and navigate their environment, avoiding objects, observe crops and perform a multitude of tasks helping the farming industry truly embrace autonomy to become more efficient, cost effective, maximise produce and get rid of waste.
You’ll need:
A good degree from a good University in Computer Science, Robotics, Maths or Physics
Hands on experience with robotics and/or sensors including camera systems, LiDAR and ultrasonics
A good command of C++ and Python – likely with an understanding or ROS too
Above all else – you’ll be curious, a quick learner and have a passion for robots and autonomous systems.
