A Veterinary Centre in Walsall are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be joining an established team and practice.
You will need to have experience in a similar role, have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure. A caring and enthusiastic attitude is essential for this role.
Level 3 diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing is required and you must be registered with RCVS.
The duties of the Registered Veterinary Nurse will include:
Preparing animals for theatre
Monitoring anaesthetics
Performing nurse consultations
Promoting preventative health care for pets
Stock control
Delivering excellent patient and client care
The ideal Registered Veterinary Nurse will have:
Previous experience within a similar role
Level 3 diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing
Registration with RCVS
Salary for this role will be £25,000
Hours for this role will be 42 hours per week over 4/5 days Monday – Friday and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
Part time candidates will also be considered for the role
