Regional Sales Manager

Salary :
Main Purpose of Role:
– To Lead and develop a team of Genetic Sales Consultants and AI Techincians.
Key Responsibilities:
– To be responsible for the delivery of the sales targets for their respective region
– To lead, motivate and develop a team of Genetic Sales Consultants to achieve their regional and individual targets and objectives
– To develop a strong customer relationship by understanding their requirements and tailoring the product & service offering to meet this
– To produce & assess activity reports in order to target key sales areas
– To develop & maintain knowledge of the Cogent portfolio of products & services & share this knowledge with their team
– To ensure that the Cogent policies and procedures are adhered to by themselves and their team
– To attend agricultural events to market and promote Cogent products & services
– To develop & maintain knowledge of the industry and market trends & share their knowledge with their team
– To continuously develop and improve both themselves, their team and processes and procedures
– To comply with Company policy and best practise in security, legal and regulatory compliance
– To complete any other duties as required from time to time
Essential Skills:
– A capable leader who has a record of achieving the most out of their team by setting and managing KPI’s and targets
– Has proven experience of managing a sales team/department
– Experience of developing and implementing efficient and effective systems and procedures
– Has a passion for providing excellent customer service
– Knowledge of the Bovine Genetics Industry and the product portfolio.
