Overview of the role:

Hours and location: 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays.

The role will be based at Donald Ward House, Ilkeston, DE75JB.

WARD are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our Customer Services team at our main office. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors and customers in a pleasant, welcoming, and friendly manner, both when they visit us, and over the phone. The role also includes providing administrative support to the Customer Services team and other departments within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will include a range of responsibilities which includes front of house duties, stock control, administrative duties and much more:

* Meet & Greet visitors, make guests feel welcome and ensure they are signed in, and vehicle is registered for a permit.

* Directing/transferring/screening calls both internally and externally in a professional and timely manner.

* Provide customer support via web help, emails, and telephone – this includes booking orders and responding to queries.

* Place orders for stationary/office supplies, including milk, coffee etc. keeping note of stock supply.

* Accepting deliveries and sending on to the relevant site/person.

* Allocating PPE and ensuring it is delivered to the correct site/person.

* Franking of external mail and arranging movement of internal mail.

* General upkeep of the reception area ensuring it is always kept in a clean and tidy condition.

* Collate cash customer information daily, liaise with those customers regarding collections.

* Booking in scrap car collections via telephone or online portal. Log details and payments to be made.

* Input vehicle details onto the DVLA system to produce certificates of destruction.

* Assist with creating monthly waste reports.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

WARD are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual, willing to take up a broad range of reception, customer services, and administrative duties. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer services team is essential for the role.
