This super creative and award winning production studio based in Central London are looking for Receptionist to join the Operations team! You will provide company-wide support within a creative and dynamic environment. They are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, the ability to juggle several priorities at any time who has a real can do attitude and the passion to learn and develop their skills.
The role in a nutshell
* Provide first class reception service to all guests into the building
* Jointly monitor the Reception mailbox, and ensure all queries are dealt with promptly, including (but not limited to): arranging domestic and international couriers and taxis, booking train tickets and supporting different departments with their work, as directed
* Assisting with various aspects of Company event organisation, for example, Company Offsites and seasonal celebrations
* Arrange transportation of merchandise
* Ensuring the Reception and communal areas within the office are presentable and organised
* Preparation of the Conference Room ahead of meetings and reorganise it afterwards
* Manage diarised Conference Room bookings and co-ordinate refreshments and lunches for meetings taking place
* Ensure office preparations have been comprehensively undertaken each day including checking the kitchen is adequately stocked and post/deliveries have been distributed etc
* Undertake monthly departmental expenses rationalisation
* Share responsibility for ensuring office opening and closure procedures have been performed at the beginning and end of each day
* Arrange and order weekly kitchen, stationery and office supplies, whilst adhering to company budgets – ensuring that communal areas are well stocked at all times.
* Help ensure outgoing post has been dealt with on time
* Order office equipment requested and make appropriate arrangements for its delivery
What skills and experience would make you perfect for this role
* Some prior experience gained within a media environment
* Punctual; excellent time management is essential to this role
* Well presented with a professional attitude – friendly and polite with excellent communication skills
* Passionate about delivering an excellent visitor experience, ensuring that all guests and staff members receive a positive, warm and professional first and last impression
* Adaptable and proactive – a self starter who is able to anticipate the office needs and step in to take on extra duties without instruction
* Efficient, highly organised and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
