Quantitative Developer – Up to £170,000
My client is a Proprietary Trading Start-Up located near Covent Garden, London.
With no external funding or investments, the company trades in a myriad of different markets using both founders invested capital. With an innovative approach to implementing trading, they are looking to bring on an engineer to help architect and build their pipelines while they look to scale up the business from a technical stand point. The ideal Quant developer will be able to work closely alongside developers, have the ability to work autonomously and be able to improve scalability, observability, security and performance of the infrastructure
There are a number of positions available from Jnr (Min 2 years) to Snr (Min 8 years)
The ideal Quant Developer will have:
* High level experience in Java
* Experience with event-sstems such as Netty, Aeron, SBE or Chronicle
* Strong Linux experience
* Must have a minumum 2 years experience in High Frequency Trading or Buy side trading
Beneficial Skills:
* Capable of working in agile team with multiple technologies
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience using TCP, UDP, Websocket, FIX or multicast
* Finanance background
