Creative Instrumentation are a integrated engineering company working with some of the largest global organisations in a variety of sectors from Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Medical, Academic, Semiconductor and Vacuum.
We are now recruiting an Inspector to work in our Quality Department.
* To provide quality control monitoring of production components that are incoming to the business.
* Booking in and batching in of stock components
* Highlight and implement improvements in manufacture or process from a Quality perspective
* Inspect incoming purchased parts as per designated inspection grades to ensure they reach the drawing/customer or our internal requirements.
* Ensure that batched material is correct to the purchase order and material cert.
* Keep up to date and implement changes reflecting the requirements of external standards and customer requirements.
* Raise and chasing up Supplier Non Conformances
* Check Purchase Orders – Ensuring that the correct information is added to PO’s/ Drawings/Specs/ information as per the original customer order/ drawing.
* Conduct roaming audits within the business to highlight non-compliance of product or process in conjunction with Procedures.
* Liasing between customers on free issue shortages or defects.
* Ensure that procedures are adhered to by production staff and product leaving the business meets customer expectation.
* Promote quality within the business and ensure that all initiatives are rolled out to every member of staff.
* All other responsibilities are set against processes as stipulated in the skills matrix.
Key Measures/outcomes:
* Internal NCRs that pass inspection
* Internal and external audit NCRs.
Other significant duties/responsibilities
* Following and implementing company policies and procedures.
* Identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives
